Active Trading
If you are an active investor and have interest in following markets globally Ancoria offers the possibility use an Internet Broker within your insurance policy.
Through cooperation with the Internet brokers E*Trade or Avanza you can trade shares on-line within your insurance policy. Unfortunately, at this time the brokers have only web sites in the Swedish language. Ancoria Insurance is the formal owner of the account and you're trading via a power of attorney directly at your selected stock broker.
Taxes
In many countries there are no capital gains tax for trades within a insurance policy. Check the tax laws where you reside.
Low tax on dividends
As the stock account is owned by Ancoria Insurance the dividend tax on Swedish shares is only 15%. This might be lower than you have to pay in your country of residence.
This is how you get started
If you're not a customer at Ancoria Insurance you must first open an Policy with us. If you already have an policy with us then you just have to:
> Fill in and send the document Application for participating in Ancoria Stock Trading
> Make an initial deposit of at least 1 000 Euro.
> Use your policy number as reference and indicate at which Stock Broker you want your stock account.
Thereafter you'll get user instructions sent by mail and subsequently you can log on directly at the Stock Broker you selected and start trading. You can, of course, also transfer money from any of your other funds at Ancoria.
