Ancoria Sweden Performance Fund SEK

29 May 2018

Objective of the fund

The Fund aims to pay policyholders full participation in the positive return of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index in SEK. In addition, policyholders will get their capital back in full provided that the closing level of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index is above 982.49, the Capital Protection Barrier Level, at maturity.

This is how it works:

If on any yearly Autocall Observation Date (20/5/2016, 22/5/2017), the closing level of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index is at or above 1637.49, the Strike Level, policyholders will receive 100% of their premium invested (plus a cash amount equivalent to the positive return of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index) and the Fund will close.
Upon maturity and given that the Fund is not earlier redeemed, 100% of the premium invested  will be payable to the policyholder unless the closing level of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index on 21/5/2018, the Final Observation Date, is at or below 982.49, the Capital Protection Barrier Level. In this case, the policyholder will be fully exposed to the negative performance of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index from its initial level.
The expected payoff is illustrated in the diagram below (see brochure for additional examples):

The fund is suitable for the investor that:
  • is looking for full participation in the positive return of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index whilst having significant capital protection.
  • can accept a holding period of up to 3 years. The early redemption feature allows the Fund, under certain conditions, to redeem earlier thus returning initial capital plus a return.
  • does not expect the level of the Underlying Index, OMX Stockholm 30 Index, to be at or below 60% of its Initial Level on 21/5/2018, the Final Fixing Date. Based on current levels of the Underlying Index, the 60% Capital Protection Barrier Level corresponds to price levels last seen during 2012.

Risk information
  • Policyholders face the possibility of losing a significant portion of the principal amount invested if at maturity the Underlying Index is below the capital protection barrier level.
  • Policyholders who invest in a currency different to the currency of the fund (SEK) will be subject to currency risk.
  • Policyholders who need access to all or some of their initial investment before the termination of the product, may risk receiving less than their initial investment, subject to market conditions and exit fees.
  • Should the Fund be redeemed early, policyholders have no right to future return.
  • If the issuer and/or its Guarantor (if any) defaults or becomes insolvent, the initial investment and any future return may be at risk and policyholders could lose some or all of their initial investment.
